As an effort to raise funds for Islandwood, the 4th graders are hosting an all school talents show!
It will be on April 22, Tuesday night, from 6-8 pm.
If you can sing, dance, unicycle, or do something else cool, please come participate. It costs $7.50 to perform, but to come watch is free.
Try outs will be next Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8, in the hallway outside the 4th grade classroom. You can tryout before or after school either day from 8:45-9:15am or 3:45-4:15pm. Your talent should take two minutes or less. All acts that fit the two minute or less time requirement and are school appropriate will be accepted.
The night of the performance K/1/2 will perform from 6-7pm and grades 3/4/5 will perform from 7-8pm.
We will be selling crafts, gifts and baked treats that night to help with fund raising and we will also have a raffle. Please find that inner talent and we will see you next Monday and Tuesday at tryouts!
If you have questions or need anything please contact Kristin Teske.
QAE 4th Graders
P.S. This event will be completely run by the 4th grade class. They are running the committees, they are creating crafts to sell at the performance, they are writing announcements, and filling out the proper paperwork. So if we have some snags, we hope you will be patient. Our 4th graders are building the plane as they fly it, which as many of you know is a QAE tradition! Thank you! Kristin Teske
