PTA advocates from across the state will gather in Olympia for WSPTA’s Annual Legislative Focus Day on Monday, January 19, 2015. This is an important event due to the funding issues that are happening right now. Bring the kids and attend Focus Day as we rally on the Capitol steps, meet with Legislators, deliver postcards, receive updates from policy-makers on key issues, and network with other PTA advocates.
You may register here if you plan on attending.
Susan Lusty, QAE PTSA Legistlative Co-chair will be attending with her child and is happy drive, just send her an email.
Don't feel like driving? Ride the bus. Round trip tickets are $10/adult and $5/kids. Bus will leave from both the Green Lake and Airport Way park and rides. Buy your bus tickets here.
Even if you don’t go, you can make and send postcards to legislators. They can be found here.
