Don't forget to have your student return their donation envelopes Tomorrow, Thurs Oct 20. Can't wait to see you all at the first big fundraiser this Friday!
Questions? Contact Holley Ring at hring@Windermere.com or Natalie Carlson at carlson_Natalie@earthlink.net Remember that this is our *only* kid-powered fundraiser for the year, and the kids feel really good about doing their part to help support their school, so please help them to gather some sponsors. Our goal is to have every student participate in the effort!
The funds raised by this event help the PTSA cover important things that the district doesn’t, for example: · Art and music programs at our school · The tutors and teacher assistants who are helping reduce the student teacher ratio in our classes · Transportation and other expenses for field trips Besides all of the great benefits that the kids will appreciate from the funds raised, there are some fun prizes to be won on Friday… · Rocket trophies for the class and student who raise the most $$ · Domani Pizza parties, and a Molly Moon ice cream party to the classes who raise the most and have the highest percent of participation · Gift cards to Blue Highway Games, Communique Toys, and Molly Moon Ice Cream to the students who raise the most money or have the most sponsors Thank you to our local business community for donating the prizes, and thank you to mom Mary Lee, our new “Queen of Procurement” who has been a great help connecting us to them! Hay: 55 Queen Anne:91 Coe: 34 Thanks to all of the schools for participating and thanks to Pinkabella for your willingness to participate in such a fun contest - and for the school donation! If you have old magazines lying around your home, instead of recycling them please consider dropping them at KidsCo. It's collage season and they will be needing TONS of magazines.
They'd also still love scrap paper/construction paper, books, games, crafts etc. Thanks! All students will participate by running laps around the school during a fun filled afternoon. Please help us make this fun event a successful fundraiser by encouraging them to ask family, friends and anyone who might want to support QAE to sponsor them. A packet was sent home last week with a sample dialog and sponsor sheet. Sponsor sheets are due one week from today, Thursday October 20, to your child's teacher..

Thank you to James and Nikki Schmidt, parents of 1st grader Franny, for inviting the QAE community to their restaurant, Pecado Bueno, for "staff practice" night last Thurs, 10/7. Over $1,000 was raised for the PTSA and all of that funding will go toward programs that benefit QAE students.
If you attended but were unable to make your donation at the dinner, it's not too late!
