What did I win?
You should have received an email from QAE PTSA Auction / SchoolAuction.net on March 18th to confirm your items. If you need a reminder please contact Sandra Nanney at email@example.com for a reminder of items won.
I didn't pay for a my student's photo yet:
You still can pay, by using this link to the online auction site.
None of the above times work for me:
Remaining items will be assessed and additional communication will be shared for those that are unable to pick up during these times. Remaining student photos may be sent home in the orange folders.
The PTSA Board and Auction Team thank you all for your generosity and support at the 2017 Auction, Havana Nights! We are still finalizing our numbers, but the evening was a huge success (and a lot of fun, too!). We hope you will continue bidding on the Online Auction until it closes this Friday at 9pm.
A few other notes:
Student Photos - these were amazing! Didn't attend or forgot to buy? Absolutely no problem. You can still purchase your child's photo. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your child's teacher and name for us to confirm it's in our possession. $25 for the print, $40 for digital copy only. Or have it custom framed by Queen Anne Frame for $120. Please purchase via the online auction catalog.
Sign Up Parties - there are still a few spots left for some amazing teacher experiences. We will open the available spots in the online catalog on Monday, 3/13 at 9 a.m.
Did you forget your basket, art, gift certificate, etc. at the auction? You should have received an email from Sandra Nanney about your items. If you didn't see the email please email email@example.com for us to confirm.
Be sure to get your online bids in before it closes at 9 p.m. on Friday!
The Online Auction supporting QAE is well underway! Thank you for your generous support so far. Anybody can bid, including friends and family, even if you aren't going on Friday. Just visit the auction site to view the items and make a bid...
We have 446 bids on 117 items in the first two days, and have already raised $10K+. Six items have double-digit bids, and half of the items have 4 or more bids. But it's not too late: we have over 20 items that don't have a bid yet, so there are some bargains to be had. And we've added several items this week, including a Nintendo Switch game console, which is so hot it sold out within hours of being released on Friday. Can't get it at stores, but can get it at the QAE Auction!
Daily Drawing Winners
Our first four Via Tribunali Pizza winners are ... (drumroll) ... Kevin Rinderle, Melissa McTavish, Pia Silverlieb, and Rebecca Selah! Congratulations!
Want to win? All you need to do is bid—we draw the names of two bidders from the online auction each day this week to win a free pizza. Friday we're also awarding movie tickets to one of the bidders who chooses the "Buy It Now" option—so far we have six people in the running for that. Bid early and bid often!
Every dollar raised helps support resources for the kids at the school this year, from the counselor to the reading and math specialists, and provides author visits, curriculum, SEL tools, and more.
Visit the QAE online auction site now! And don't forget to share it with any friends or family who'd like to support our school while getting some great items.

It takes a village to run a school auction! Our wonderful Auction Committee needs a little help with a variety of tasks:
• Are you good at emails? Following up with a list of individuals and checking their names off when you receive a response? We need a parent volunteer to help follow up with our QAE staff and teachers on their Sign Up Parties. Can you say Yes to 30 mins a week for the next 3-4 weeks?
• Do you like a puzzle? Do you like seating arrangements? Our awesome 5th grade parents, who have done this for years, would like to train and pass the baton of how to arrange the QAE Auction seating. If you are able to commit to learn this year and arrange seats for next year please let us know. Sign up with a friend! And you can work on seating arrangements over a glass of wine.
• Printing Contact? We are looking for in-kind donation or deep discount to help print our Auction brochure. Do you have a contact or would your company be able to help donate their copier services?
• Student Photos - Natalia Dotto, QAE parent and photographer, need help shuttling kids to and from their classroom. We need one more parent helper on Feb. 7th. Sign up here to help...
• Digital Photo Organizer? Do you have a 2-5 hours at the end of February to help rename and organize the pictures with the students LAST NAME, FIRST INITIAL of the student. Cari Lui of Yuen Lui has generously agreed to print all of the photos for us, but it is imperative that they be organized by class and last name prior to the printing process.
• Production Assistant to Auction Video? Need volunteers to help with the auction video. Kelly Essmeier, awesome QAE parent, is producing our video this year. Can you help support our video, brainstorm, assist with messaging? A team of creative parents is better than one.
Any of the above sound interesting or need more information? Contact the auction team at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more or access our Fundraising page where we will continue to update our asks:
