Getting Started

Helpful Information:

1. Complete the Volunteer Application & Information Survey (new and returning volunteers)
2. Print and complete both sides of the Screening Form (bring form and picture ID to office or class coordinator)
3. Complete the SPS required Adult Sexual Misconduct Prevention online course.  Be sure to add name at the end to the SPS database so we know you have taken it.
4. Volunteer Orientation required before volunteering with students.  Online video training coming soon! 

Once your background check is verified and you've participated in a Volunteer Orientation, you may begin volunteering. 


VOLUNTEER QUICK FAQ
Q: I participated in the volunteer orientation already. Do I need to complete again?
A: No.


Q: Once I have completed the SPS required Adult Sexual Misconduct Prevention online course, will I need to take it again next year?
A: No. 


Q: I'm already a volunteer, do I need to complete the volunteer application & survey?
A: Yes! This will help us match you to volunteer opportunities. (Even if you've volunteered in past years, please complete this application and survey.

> For classroom volunteer opportunities contact your child’s class coordinator, visit the classroom website or use this quick link to Classroom Signups.

> School-wide volunteer opportunities are available once your screening form is approved and you've complete the Volunteer Orientation.
