Dear QAE community,
We’d like to thank you for participating in this year’s Jog-a-thon. This was the third and final PTSA fundraiser of the year, and as such will help us to fund many of the programs and staff that we believe are critical to our children’s education. Your time and generosity directly support our Social Emotional and Project Based learning programs, school counseling, art and music instruction, and Instructional Assistants and tutors. But most importantly, the Jog-a-thon is a community-building event that our kids lead, and by all accounts it was a great time for all involved.
If you’d like to learn more about how your contributions will be spent next year, we encourage you to attend the final PTSA meeting of the year – scheduled for Thurs., June 12 at 7 pm. We look forward to seeing you there, and in the meantime please enjoy this last fun month of school.

The Nomination Committee is in the process of identifying and fielding candidates to fill open 2014-15 board positions and non-board committee leads. We'd really like your help in identifying people who might be interested in serving on the PTSA. In addition, if you are interested in an open position for the 2014-15 school year, please let us know. A full list of open positions will be available soon, but some of the leadership spots we need to fill are: Co-President (1), Co-Treasurer (1), Parent Volunteer Coordinator (1), and more. If you are interested, or if you would like to make a nomination, please contact Heath Dixon, Karen Gigliotti or Cari Lui. The goal is to fill all open positions by early June.
