Becoming a board member of the PTSA is a great way to build community for our kids (and as a parent!), and to create enrichment opportunities for the whole school.
We’d love to have you join us for the 2021-2022 school year! These roles can be done solo or shared with a friend -- and current board members are happy to talk to you further about what each role entails. Please email: [email protected] if you are interested! Current Open Positions: Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion? Families of Color needs a Director to continue to build our school’s commitment to social justice. Have ideas and connections that can help us generate much-needed funds for Queen Anne Elementary? The Fundraising Director leads the charge to organize all fundraising efforts - from cookbooks to the auction. We're also looking for an Auction Lead to partner with the Fundraising Director to lead our most important event. The Legislative Director keeps track of district and state legislation that may impact the school. Love keeping people in the loop? Have experience building websites, copywriting or social media? We're looking for a Communications Director (or team!). Are you a natural team builder? Good at wrangling people? We'd love to have you as a Volunteer Coordinator. Want to help our Explorers remember every year? Have some creative flair? We'd love to have you as our Yearbook Lead. We also are in need of a Sunshine Lead. Our QAE community has put together Sharing Our Table: A Queen Anne Elementary Cookbook. It includes more than 100 recipes beloved by our families, our staff and even some alumni. There are quick meals, celebration foods and pandemic food projects for you to savor. Get your copy (or two or three) and support our school! Cost: $30 each for the beautiful softcover book printed by Heritage Cookbooks. (More than 200 pages!). Get your order in by Sunday, May 23rd, 2021!  Picking up: Cookbooks will be available for pick-up at QAE in early June. Our volunteers will contact you when they're available
