Give your child the opportunity to learn a world language! The Language Link classes are forming now at Queen Anne for the winter/spring session 2013.
Art, Music, Games and FUN! Students learn academic and social language skills through games, music, art, drama and spontaneous conversation. The focus is on development of oral proficiency.
Small Class Sizes Class sizes is capped at 12 students, and requires a minimum of 8 students per class.
Schedule Classes meet before school starting the week of Feb 18.

Travel Series!
A Mixed-Media Art Journey

In this 8 week series, students will make art centered on the theme of travel!  From duct tape luggage bags, travel journals, time-travel passports and 3-D maps we will embark on an on-going creative adventure!  This series will work strongly with conceptualizing space, building visual language skills and creating abstract narratives.  We also aim to have lots of fun!

After School Hoops® by One on One Basketball

Join One on One Basketball at Queen Anne Elementary for After School Hoops®, an ideal introduction to the most dynamic sport in the world.   Our instructors will not only teach your child athletic fundamentals through progressive drills, engaging cardio and fun competitions, but we will use these fundamentals as a platform to teach life-skill lessons that reinforce positive attitudes about effort, respect, cooperation and self-control.  After School Hoops® makes three guarantees: your child will learn, sweat and have fun!

QAE PTSA Co-Auction Chairs 2013

Please join us for our final PTSA meeting of the 2012 year!

Monday, 12/17 from 7-8:30 pm in the school cafeteria.

We will be sharing some exciting new developments for our school, including:
-  Recommended enhancements to the school curriculum, infrastructure and technology offering to be funded by incremental PTSA dollars
-  Innovative new ideas for our school as proposed in our Creative Approach application, such as: Summer Session, Extended Learning Day, and Saturday Learners Program.

We would really love to see you all there, and welcome any and all input as we roll out these ideas.  We understand that it's a busy time of year, but this is important and we promise to keep the meeting short!

Childcare is available at Kids Co. by reservation only, for kids ages 4.5 and older.  All children must be potty trained.  Suggested donation of $5 at the door, cash or check payable to QAE PTSA.   Drop off no earlier than 6:45; pick-up no later than 8:45.  Please call Patrick at (206) 216-2250 to reserve your spot by EOD on Friday.
