The QAE Talent Show is coming up on Thursday, May 19th at Queen Anne Community Center from 5:30pm-8:30pm! The talent show will be hosted by QAE 4th graders as a fundraiser for their 5th grade trip to IslandWood next year!
This year there will be two acts. Younger grades performing in the 1st Act, older grades performing in the 2nd Act, and raffle drawings during intermission!
Tryouts are coming up! We encourage everyone to Explore their Talent and try out for the show!
Tuesday, May 3rd: after school 4:00pm-6:00pm
Thursday, May 5th: after school 4:00pm-6:00pm
Monday, May 9th: before school 8:00pm-9:25am
Students will be bringing home a tryout permission slip this week in their orange folders. If your student is interested in trying out, just fill out the form and return it to your teacher by April 29th. There is a $10 tryout fee to cover the cost of the show (scholarships are available). Each act must be ready to go on the day of the audition. Each act can be no longer than 1 minute, 30 seconds. Sorry, but there can be no wheels in the acts (no unicycle, bikes, scooters, etc.). We MUST have these forms and payment in hand in order for your child to participate in the show.
