In Olympia on Monday, several of our families had fun while taking a stand for education. Kids enjoyed getting faces painted, making signs and climbing trees in the park before the rally. They marched in the "parade" to the Capitol building and waved their signs. Families had the opportunity to meet Mary Lou Dickerson and Reuven Carlyle and voice their concerns. Hopefully the Washington State legislature heard the message of prioritizing education. QAE PTSA would like the thank those families that took time out of their busy schedules to represent all of our students!
