QAE Jog-A-Thon - Friday May 10

Jog-a-thon 2013 is here!
 
Our theme for this year is “Race to the Moon!”  Thank you, Tony Teske of Kast Design for the great t-shirt logo!

Make sure the date- Friday, May 10th-  is on your calendar, and watch for the Jog-a-thon packets- they came home in orange folders yesterday.  Inside, you will find information about the event, a sample dialog for your student to use when asking friends, family and neighbors for their sponsorship, the sponsorship form, and a sheet of receipts for your donors.  The envelope is to be used for turning in your pledges, so don’t throw it out!

Mr. Elliot announced the Jog-a-thon at the Monday morning meeting yesterday, and the kids are excited.  This is their big chance to help their school!   We’re less than two weeks from the big day, so please help them get started finding some sponsors. 

Our financial goal for this year is $100 per student, but our most important goal is to have everyone participate—Donations can be any amount and all sponsors are appreciated!
 
We would love to have lots of parents here to help the day of the event- The kids will actually be running during the afternoon of Friday the 10th,
with the kick-off at 1:00, but we could use volunteers to help starting in the morning.  To sign up to volunteer, you can email Holley Ring
