DebateAble is an after-school Debate Club for 4th and fifth grade students - no debate experience necessary! Debate Clubs provide children with an opportunity to learn critical thinking skills, analysis and public speaking in a fun, positive environment. DebateAble uses teamwork, research materials and games, to help students formulate and present arguments, as well as listen, understand and respond to the arguments of others.This 12-week session ends with an exciting interschool Debate Tournament (Sat. June 1) together with all Queen Anne and Magnolia public schools-- where students compete against opposing teams in groups of three. Tournaments are optional but all are encouraged to take part and are supported as participants.
Grades:4th & 5th
Dates: Monday’s from February 25th to May 20th (excluding holidays
Tuition:$200 per session.
